These Terms & Conditions govern participation in one-on-one mental performance coaching services provided by Mental Performance Mentors ("MPM," "we," "us," or "our").
By enrolling in coaching services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions on behalf of yourself and your athlete.
Mental Performance Mentors provides mental performance coaching focused on areas such as confidence, focus, routines, self-talk, visualization, goal-setting, and performance consistency in sport.
Coaching services are educational and performance-based in nature and are designed to support athletic development.
Mental performance coaching is not therapy, counseling, or medical treatment.
We do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions, psychological disorders, or medical issues. Coaching services are not a substitute for professional mental health care, counseling, or medical advice.
If mental health support is needed, we encourage families to seek assistance from a licensed mental health professional.
Coaching services are intended for athletes middle school age and older across a wide range of sports.
Athletes are expected to engage in the coaching process and apply mental performance tools both in and out of competition.
Parents or legal guardians are responsible for providing accurate information and supporting their athlete's participation when applicable.
Mental performance coaching sessions are typically conducted one-on-one with the athlete. This allows athletes to speak openly and take ownership of their development.
Parents are welcome to be involved as appropriate, particularly at the beginning of the coaching relationship or when questions arise. We are also happy to provide general updates or check-ins upon request.
Specific details shared during sessions may remain private to support the athlete's growth, unless there is a concern related to safety or well-being.
Session content is individualized and may evolve based on the athlete's needs and progress.
Coaching services are billed on a monthly recurring basis according to the coaching plan selected at enrollment.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Mental Performance Mentors does not store or have access to full payment card information.
You may cancel your coaching plan at any time by providing at least 7 days' notice prior to your next scheduled billing date.
Cancellations received after this window may result in one additional billing cycle. Once canceled, no future payments will be charged.
Monthly coaching fees are non-refundable once a billing cycle has begun.
If you cancel mid-month, you will retain access to scheduled sessions through the end of that billing period, but no refund will be issued for unused sessions.
We understand that schedules change. If you need to reschedule a session, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance whenever possible.
We recognize that last-minute conflicts and unexpected situations can occur, especially with athletes. In those cases, we will do our best to accommodate rescheduling based on availability.
Sessions that are rescheduled with proper notice will be honored within the same billing period when possible.
Missed sessions without notice may not be eligible for rescheduling.
While mental performance coaching can be highly beneficial, specific results or performance outcomes are not guaranteed.
Athletic performance is influenced by many factors beyond coaching, including physical training, health, effort, and external circumstances.
Information shared during coaching sessions is treated with respect and discretion.
However, confidentiality may be limited in cases where:
In such cases, we may need to involve parents, guardians, or appropriate professionals.
Participation in coaching services is voluntary.
Mental Performance Mentors is not responsible for outcomes related to athletic performance, competition results, injuries, or decisions made by athletes or parents based on coaching discussions.
By enrolling, you acknowledge that coaching is a collaborative process and that results depend on the athlete's engagement and application of skills.
Mental Performance Mentors reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions as needed. Any changes will be reflected on this page.
